STORY: The Channel Islands Beach Community Services District (CIBCSD) Operations Facility Project is a critical infrastructure redevelopment located at the district’s main headquarters 353 Santa Monica Drive, Oxnard, CA 93035.

The project modernizes the local utility hub that manages water distribution, sanitation, and refuse collection for approximately 10,000 coastal residents across Silver Strand and Hollywood Beach.

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The development encompasses a comprehensive redesign and replacement of the district's aging corporate yard and administrative space

  • Scope: A modern, unified administrative office building paired with an integrated service and operations yard.
  • Footprint: The facility covers a total area of 32,880 square feet.
  • Design & Engineering Teams: Master planning, architectural layout, and full structural, civil, landscape, and environmental engineering were managed by Coastal Architects.
  • General Contractor: Construction execution is led by MCG Corporation, with Pete Martinez serving as the primary project representative.
